Hello and welcome!
Thank you for visiting my site. I recently completed coursework for my Master's Degree in Educational Technology at Michigan State University. This master's program has helped me become a successful and dynamic educator by preparing me to be on the forefront of using current and future technological applications to support balanced, research-based teaching practices. Since I started this program, I've done a great deal of work with web publishing, various Web 2.0 tools, and collaborative uses of technology. This website serves as an online portfolio to display who I am as a learner, an educator, and a leader in instructional technology.
Currently, I am an instructional coach at Union High School in Grand Rapids, MI, where I engage in coaching cycles with teachers, plan and facilitate professional development, and create curriculum and assessments. In the past, I was a teacher at Grand Rapids Central High School and taught classes in Anatomy, Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Science and Physical Science. In addition, I've also been an athletic coach, sponsor of multiple clubs and organizations, department head, and professional learning community leader.
Please feel free to explore my work, experiences, and reflections by using the tabs at the top of the page.
